This year AWE Europe 2017, the world’s largest Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality event, took place from October 19 to 20 at the MOC Exhibition Center in Munich. More than 90 established companies and start-ups presented the latest news in the field of AR and VR to the visitors. The event offered a large number of demonstrations and discussions in an extensive program of keynotes and panels, network events and breakout sessions.

It all started in July 2012, when iTiZZiMO was founded in Würzburg. With years of experience in the SAP environment, the two founders Reza Etemadian and Christian Kleinschroth wanted to provide users of SAP software with more intuitive usability on a more appealing surface.
“Industrial internet of things in the small and medium-sized businesses – Does digitalization go down?” – this was the motto of Reality Check 4.0. The event took place in the Gerling-Quartier in Cologne on July 6, 2017 organized by the internet portal “Industry of Things”. We were also part of the event as a premium partner and presented our low-code platform Simplifier.
According to the motto „Tradition becomes knowledge, because knowledge creates a lead – digitization is well underway”, the SWS Brainshare took place on 6th of July 2017 in the Continental Arena in Regensburg.
As a partner of SWS Computersysteme AG, iTiZZiMO was also part of the exhibition and welcomed around 400 participants. As one of the only exhibitors in the field of digitization with independent network infrastructure, we presented our solutions with the Simplifier.
From 5th to 6th of July, the second edition of DIGILITY conference and expo took place in Cologne, Germany. In this year, we also welcomed all VR and AR fans with our own booth and focused on the topics of augmented reality, mixed reality and wearable computing, especially in the industrial context.
